KeepMinute End User Licence

This licence is between you and James Doyle ("the Licensor"), the developer of KeepMinute. Lemon Squeezy is the reseller and merchant of record for your purchase and its own terms of sale also apply.

1. Licence

On payment you receive a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to install and use KeepMinute on computers you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the software.

2. Provided as is

KeepMinute is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of transcripts or summaries, and uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Licensor's total liability arising from or in connection with KeepMinute is limited to the price you paid for it. The Licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in this licence limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

4. Recording consent

You are solely responsible for how you use KeepMinute. Before recording, you must tell every participant and obtain any consent required by the laws that apply to you and to them. Some jurisdictions, including several US states, require the consent of everyone in a conversation. You are the data controller for any recordings, transcripts and notes you create.

5. Third party services

If you connect Microsoft, Notion or an AI provider, your use of those services is governed by their terms and you pay them directly. The Licensor does not control and is not responsible for those services. You choose your AI provider and you are responsible for that choice, for accepting the provider's terms and for all charges it bills to you. The Licensor has no liability for your AI provider, its service or its charges.

6. Updates and refunds

Version 1 updates are included. Refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its refund policy and your consumer rights.

7. Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
